We will not put a number on the wall that we cannot hold. How fast a part can be quoted depends
on what is on a shelf somewhere in the world that night — in our own stock, or with the suppliers
we buy from. Nobody can promise that in advance, and a supplier who does is quoting you a wish.
What we do promise is simpler and ours to keep: your request is read and worked when it arrives,
not at nine the next morning. You get a human answer with what we have found, what it costs and
how it can move — including the honest version, when the answer is “not tonight, and here is the
alternative”.
What to put in the first message
Everything below fits in six lines of an email, and every line of it saves a round trip. If you
have only the part number, send that — we will ask for the rest while we are already looking.
Part number, exactly as printed on the part or in the IPC, and the quantity.
Conditions you can accept — new, new surplus, overhauled, serviceable, as removed. An AOG that accepts SV instead of NE is a different search. Our guide to the condition codes is here.
Aircraft or engine type and the tail number, so we can check interchangeability rather than guess.
Where it has to land — the airport or address, and who clears it if it crosses a border.
Which paperwork the installer requires — FAA Form 8130-3, EASA Form 1, dual release, C of C, trace to the last certificated source. What each one is and when to insist is in this guide.
Your AOG reference and a phone that answers, so the reply reaches the person who is standing next to the aircraft.

replies next to the request they answer, at whatever hour they arrive.

Parts are sold EXW Orlando; we hand them to your courier account or arrange the shipment,
